Responsibilities:
Responsible for establishing and maintaining production schedules in multiple departments and ensure each job is done in run sequence by machine and facility codeReview master schedules and machine schedules continuously to insure that the established sequence is followedSchedule jobs according to start date, machine capacity and priorityBreak in and modify schedules to accommodate high priority ordersReview and update reports in Excel using VLOOKUP to manipulate data from multiple spreadsheetsAdvise supervisor regarding status of any orders, materials problems, potential bottlenecks and tooling problemsWeigh-in work and move to other departments as requiredCheck incoming and outgoing work areas and insure work is moving on scheduleCoordinate scheduling efforts with other shiftsWork with engineering to resolve all dispositions for jobs on the weekly ship listUpdate, resolve issues and move all critical sales jobs dailyRelease work for final testing in the QC lab when neededMaintain an accurate Open Order File, update and correct related computer reports to accurately reflect the status of all orders, including current production counts, production rates, and special instructions from Engineering or SalesPerform other duties, as assignedRequired Skills:
